On behalf
of the staff of East Campus, I would like to welcome you to the 2013-2014
school year. The staff and teachers have
been working very hard in preparation for the start of the school year. I strongly believe that the key to education
is a strong partnership between home and school. Please feel free to contact me with any
questions that you may have.
The first
day of school will be on September 3rd. This will be a regular full day for all
students. Students will pick up their
class schedules in the office on the first day of school. Picture
Day will be September 5th.

I am
looking for individuals who would like to serve on the “East Campus Parent
Advisory Board.” The purpose of the “ECPAB”
will be the following: facilitate a deeper connection with the parents and
families of East Campus, review/develop the School Improvement Plan, and
provide input and direction for school functions. Based on interested parties, we will set a
time that works for those interested. We
will meet roughly four to five times during the school year. If you would like to be part of the “ECPAB,” please
contact Ms. Dame at 616-361-7396. Once I
have a list of participants, I will schedule the first meeting. Thanks!
It is with great pride and anticipation
as I look forward to the first day. The
strength of East Campus is, without question, our student body. The staff and I are extremely fortunate to
have the opportunity to serve the families and students that walk through our
doors. We will do our very best to
