Michigan Merit Exam Schedule/Information
During
the week of March 3rd, 2014 all high schools across the State of Michigan will be administering the Michigan
Merit Exam (MME). This test, formerly
recognized as the MEAP, is required of all Juniors and any Seniors who have not
previously taken it. This is the 7th
year that the Juniors in our state take the MME and it is truly a high stakes
test for a number of reasons. The most
appealing aspect of the MME to most of you is the fact that it includes the
national ACT test, which means that all students can take the ACT test at the
State’s expense; the scores will assist students in applying for college and
career training programs.
The administration of the MME will require us to alter our school schedule for the week of March 3th-7th.
